MEET THE AUTHOR
Arlener Steels-Povdras is an author who writes with HOPE. Her mantra is, “Jesus Is My Everything and My Enough!”
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, who grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, Arlener writes to encourage women in the workplace, people grieving a loved one, dementia caregivers, and couples building lasting marriages.
Arlener serves as director of the Artis the Artist Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in memory of her son, Artis (AJ). Since 2012, the foundation has provided scholarships to students studying the arts. She also faithfully serves with Meet Me @ The Cross Ministries under the leadership of her husband of 30 years, Pastor L.A. Poydras.
A Senior Manager for an international software company, Arlener holds a B.A. in Accounting and an M.A. in General Business. She is an active community volunteer who enjoys sharing God’s Word, traveling, and writing.
